“Natural seller” to tell chamber how it works

Monthly luncheon/ Michael Oliver will be featured speaker

A concept sales professionals are referring to as natural selling will be pitched to members of the Delta Chamber of Commerce next week.

Michael Oliver will explain how to sell your product or service in a non-threatening manner, communicating with your prospects effectively while yielding the highest level of results without any anxiety.

Oliver, a seasoned sales training coach, will be the guest speaker at the chamber’s monthly luncheon next Wednesday at the Town & Country Inn.

Oliver replaces all the traditional manipulative sales techniques and completely redefines the role of the seller and business. Natural selling demonstrates that if salespeople can change their focus from a “self-serving outcome” to a “customer-focused outcome,” and convey this in an effective way, they achieve significantly better results. It is also the essence of securing outstanding client relationships and eliminates personal stress.

 

Oliver says people no longer accept being manipulated to buy. “Your business has to manifest that you’re not in it for you, you’re in it for them, and you have to live and breathe that belief.”


Michael Oliver was born and educated in England. After college, he spent 5 years in Switzerland managing hotel and apartment properties before immigrating to the United States in 1975. During the next 13 years, selling and training in a variety of products and services, he developed Natural Selling, a non-threatening comfortable process of communicating with his prospects which effectively yields the high levels of results that many seek, without the anxiety usually associated with sellers.
